"Happily ever after"

 Hello friends,

This is me Malavika and welcome back to another blog by me.

Today's blog topic is nothing but the phrase 'Happily ever after'.

You might ask what is there about happily ever after...well this phrase has much more than anyone can think, well it was more than i could think! 

The greater meaning behind this phrase is that someone, lived happily ever after..not just finding a prince or winning a lottery and living happily ever after, but doing hard work and living happily ever after with its outcome. It simply means that you don't need to get into fairytales to have a happily ever after, but you can simply achieve it by hardworking. 

So many of you out there believe in fortune tellers and some of you don't believe. So say a person who believes in fortune tellers go to one of the fortune tellers and ask,"Will i be successful?". The fortune teller says yes. So imagine that after that day, that person doesn't work anymore. He quits his job and justs sits at home hoping that you will become a successful perosn. Do you think that person would become a successful person? No he won't. He just misunderstood the fortune tellers words. What the fortune teller wanted to say was like he would be successful in life if he works, and he just sits there thinking that he would get an happily ever after. 

If you have read this blog, i want you to do do 4 things - 

1) NEVER EVER be like that man, whatever your dreams are chase them until you catch them, you can rest in between but don't quit the game of chase. This is cause I want you to have a happily ever after ending for your story not the bad ending.

Learning to say 'No'

Hello guys,

This is Malavika and welcome to my blog!!

Today's topic is not some quote, but it is an important word of life- NO

I know you might be thinking why saying 'NO' is good sometimes, cause when you imagine the word 'NO' what usually comes to our minds is that 'NO' is not giving or not doing something. Well the word 'NO' is very important in life, though it is just a 2 letter word, many people, especially people who are shy find it difficult to say.

I agree that saying 'NO' sometimes when people ask for things can mean that they are not generous, but always saying 'YES' is not good either.

Imagine you have a friend who keeps asking you for things. One day she forgets her pencil, so she asks you and you give her. Next day she again forgets the pencil and you give her. This happens for days and she doesn't seem ashamed of forgetting her pencil everyday. This is because she knows you will give her a spare pencil. It is important to say NO here because only then your friend will realise her mistake and stop doing that. 

Another example is, imagine you have a younger sibling. He/She has a very annoying friend. Lets keep the name of the friend Henry. So whenever Henry comes over to your house, he always wants to come to your room, play with your stuff, and sometimes even spoils some things. You don't feel good about his/her friend. Even though everyday after Henry leaves, you tell yourself that you will tell him not to play with your stuff from tomorrow. But still next time he comes and asks if he can play with ur stuff you are not able to say 'NO'. This can be because u might feel they will think u are not generous or you don't say because you think they will feel bad. But still you have to say no or that kid will never realize his mistake and will continue doing it. 

So my friends, now i think you might have understood why the word 'NO' is very important and I hope, all you shy ones out there ( like me, yes i am shy) start using No for important stuff.

Money cannot buy everything

 Hello guys!

This is Malavika and welcome back to another blog!!

In today's topic, we will be learning something, many people know, but they don't always show it or do it.

The topic is - Money can't buy everything. 

This in simple definition means money isn't everything.

Maybe money can buy you a bed, but the bed doesn't feel comfy until you try it. Money can buy you a house, but there needs to be someone to make the house a home. Money can buy you a comfortable life, but not a healthy life. Money can make you go to a good school, but not a good educator. Money can buy you a phone, but you cannot make a call until you think about your loved ones and call them. Money can buy you a family who is with you for money, but not the loving family you will always dream for. 

Many people still think money is everything..they avoid people who don't have money.

One story is of this man, who gave his wife a birthday gift.

It was the night of his wife's birthday. He had a bag in his hand. He was going towards their apartment after his work. He was a rich person, but he married his wife form a poor family. When his wife saw him with the cover, she did not first check about what is in it, instead she welcomed her husband in the house and gave him tea and some snacks. She smiled at him and he smiled at her. Then he said," Happy Birthday Honey." and handed her the bag. She was so happy and delighted. She said," Aww thanks Honey...OMG these are tickets to Disneyland..but why did you buy these, you could have just come home...you are the biggest gift for me.." The husband laughed and said," No no, these gifts are nothing compared to what gifts you have given me." Then she said," Honey, it has been one year since our marriage, and this question has been running in my mind, why did u marry me, you could have got many more beautiful women who are form richer families, and now you also say that I am worth all THESE gifts?" Husband smiled and said, " You see, i may be rich but i wanted to lend a hand and help one of the poor families out there, and i chose your family. I may be rich, but you make me happy. I may have bought this house, but you make it a home. I may have bought food for us form the store, but you make it delicious, i may have bought us a washing machine but you do the laundry, there are so many more things that i can never buy with money for you, cause you are priceless." The wife was so happy on hearing this, and they smiled at each other and had a great trip to Disneyland the next day.

This story tells how a husband married his wife for love not money.

The world would be too good with all of the people being like him, so there will always be people who are greedy on money, but if are reading this, don't be one of them, and if you have been one of them, don't be one of them ever again.
